Polyester Film (commonly known as PET film) is a high-performance polymer plastic film made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET) through extrusion and biaxial stretching processes. It is characterized by high mechanical strength , excellent transparency, stable physical properties, outstanding temperature resistance (both high and low), and superior electrical insulation. It is widely used in packaging, electrical and electronic applications, optical materials, and industrial base materials.
Thermal Class: Standard electrical-grade PET film is rated as Class E (120°C).
Dielectric Strength: Features exceptionally high breakdown voltage (typically ), ranking among the best for thin-film materials.
Mechanical Toughness: Extremely high tensile strength (comparable to aluminum foil) with excellent tear resistance and dimensional stability.
Chemical Resistance: Highly resistant to most oils, solvents, and dilute acids, with very low moisture absorption.
