DMD Composite Material is a flexible laminated insulating material composed of three layers. The outer layers are made of polyester non-woven fabric, while the inner layer is a polyester film. It features excellent thermal resistance, dielectric performance, mechanical strength, and good impregnation capability.
It is widely used in Class F motors and transformers, serving as motor slot insulation, transformer interphase insulation, and liner insulation.
Thermal Class: Generally available in Class B (130°C) and Class F (155°C) standards.
Dielectric Strength: Offers superior electrical insulation and breakdown voltage resistance.
Mechanical Properties: High tensile strength, tear resistance, and good stiffness, making it suitable for automatic insertion processes.
Impregnation: The non-woven fabric surface allows for excellent saturation with insulating resins or varnishes.
Motors: Used for slot insulation, phase-to-phase insulation, and turn-to-turn insulation.
Transformers: Used for interlayer and end-insulation in dry-type transformers.
Electronics: Serving as gaskets or liners in various electrical components.
