DMD Epoxy Prepreg is an electrical insulating material produced by impregnating DMD flexible composite with heat-resistant epoxy resin, followed by a pre-drying process to achieve a B-stage (semi-cured) condition. It remains flexible at room temperature, but upon the application of heat and pressure, it rapidly cures and develops excellent adhesion strength.

• Superior Bonding Strength: During the curing process, the epoxy resin undergoes cross-linking, creating a tight bond with metal conductors like copper or aluminum foil to form a solid, integrated structure.
• Thermal Stability: Typically rated for Class F (155°C)or Class H (180°C), maintaining excellent electrical and mechanical properties under high temperatures.
• Low Shrinkage & Volatility: It produces almost no low-molecular-weight volatiles during curing, resulting in minimal shrinkage and high dimensional stability for the equipment.
• High Dielectric Strength: Typical breakdown voltage ranges from 10kV to over 20kV(depending on thickness), offering outstanding dielectric performance.

Application of oil DMD Epoxy Prepreg

• Transformers: Widely used for interlayer insulationin the low-voltage coils of dry-type transformers. It provides both insulation and mechanical reinforcement against short-circuit forces.
• Motors & Generators: Used as slot insulation, phase-to-phase insulation, and end-winding support for Class F motors.
• Other Equipment: Applied in reactors, electrical control cabinets, and other devices requiring high temperature resistance and reliability.
