Epoxy Pultruded Fiberglass Rod, also known as FRP rod, is a high-performance insulating structural material manufactured using epoxy resin as the matrix and glass fiber as the reinforcing material through a continuous pultrusion process. This advanced production method enables the rods to be produced in extended lengths and customized according to specific user requirements.
With excellent electrical insulation properties, high mechanical strength, and outstanding dimensional stability, epoxy pultruded fiberglass rods are widely used in medium- and high-voltage electrical equipment, power transmission and distribution systems, renewable energy applications, and various industrial insulation fields.
Composite Insulators: Used as the Core Rod for high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage suspension and post insulators to bear massive tensile loads.
Surge Arresters: Serves as the internal structural support for lightning arresters.
Dry-type Transformers: Used as support strips and spacers between transformer windings.
Reactors: Functions as support pillars and fasteners within reactors.
Telecommunications: Used as the Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Strength Member in optical cables.
