Epoxy Fiberglass Laminated Tubes (such as FR4, G10, and G11) are rigid tubular insulating materials manufactured by impregnating alkali-free fiberglass cloth with epoxy resin, followed by drying, rolling, and hot-press curing processes. They feature exceptionally high mechanical strength, superior electrical insulation, excellent chemical resistance, and good machinability. These tubes are widely used as insulating structural components in electrical equipment, such as high-voltage switchgears and transformers.

High Strength & Durability: Features exceptional mechanical strength (tensile, axial compression, and flexural), capable of withstanding dynamic pressure and vibrations while maintaining structural stability.
Superior Electrical Insulation: Maintains high dielectric strength and electrical breakdown resistance even in humid conditions, making them ideal for high-voltage environments.
Thermal & Chemical Resistance: Typically rated for Class B or higher thermal resistance, with excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, salts, and various chemical solvents.
Most industrial grades follow the NEMA standards:
G10 / FR4: The most versatile grades; FR4 is flame-retardant (UL94 V-0) and offers high mechanical strength.
G11 / FR5: Offers superior high-temperature performance and higher strength retention compared to G10.
3640 / 3240: Standard domestic/industrial grades commonly used for insulation components in motors and transformers.
Epoxy fiberglass laminated tubes are widely used as insulating structural components in transformers, high-voltage switchgear, and motors. Additionally, they serve as lightweight, high-strength structural supports, insulating sleeves, or corrosion-resistant piping in the aerospace, rail transit, and chemical industries.
