Product Introduction

Epoxy Fiberglass Filament Winding Tube is made of fiber glass yarn impregnated with insulation glue, epoxy resin and other resins by certain proportion, and then it is rolled in wet method, dried and finally consolidated by baking. Its heat resistance level is up to class H(180°C) and it also has excellent electrical and mechanical properties, chemical resistance (SF6), low dielectrical loss, no deformation or delamination. It is widely used as main insulator in dry- type transformers, load tap changers, electric reactors, lightning arrestors, SF6 inductors, etc.

  • Superior Mechanical Strength: The continuous cross-winding pattern delivers axial tensile strengthand radial burst pressure that far exceed standard plastics and many metals.
  • Excellent Electrical Insulation: It features high dielectric strength (typically >12 kV/mm) and low dielectric loss, capable of withstanding extreme voltages without breakdown.
  • Chemical Corrosion Resistance: The epoxy resin matrix provides excellent inertness against acids, alkalis, and various organic solvents.
  • Dimensional Stability: An extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion ensures the tube remains resistant to deformation or cracking in extreme cold or high-heat environments.
  • Non-Magnetic: It generates no eddy current losses or heat in high-voltage, high-current environments.

Insulating interrupter chambers for SF6 Circuit Breakers.
Operating rods for High-Voltage Disconnectors.
Internal core support tubes for Surge Arrester Housings.
Power Transformers: Lead insulation tubes and tap-changer supports for large oil-immersed or dry-type transformers.
High-Voltage Fuses: Tube bodies for expulsion fuses, designed to withstand high-temperature and high-pressure gas surges during interruption.
