Polyimide Glass Cloth Sheet (PIGC301 ) is a high-performance laminated insulation material made from E-glass fiber cloth impregnated with polyimide (PI) resin and processed under high temperature and pressure. It is classified as a Class C insulation material, offering exceptional thermal stability and mechanical strength.
Designed for extreme working conditions, PIGC301 provides continuous temperature resistance up to 200°C and excellent performance retention at elevated temperatures. It also features outstanding electrical insulation properties, including high dielectric strength and arc resistance, making it ideal for high-voltage applications.
Exceptional Thermal Resistance: Rated at Class C insulation level. Capable of continuous operation at 200°C, with intermittent temperature resistance up to 230°C–250°C.
High Mechanical Strength: Maintains excellent mechanical properties even at 250°C, offering outstanding specific strength and specific modulus.
Superior Electrical Insulation: Features high dielectric strength (approx. 21 kV/mm) and excellent insulation resistance.
Dimensional Stability & Flame Retardancy: Exhibits excellent dimensional stability and meets UL94 V-0 (FV0) flame retardant standards.
Resistance to Harsh Environments: Resistant to chemicals, oils, and solvents; demonstrates extremely low outgassing in vacuum environments, along with strong resistance to plasma and radiation.
